Rule 178
Proceedings regarding the income in the fund of the local body
Funds deposited in the deposit account but not recorded in the bond account of the relevant local body or it is not clear who has kept the deposit for what purpose, but it remains the same in the account of the deposit or the deposit in the deposit account is more than the deposit account of the local body. The excess amount should be contributed to the fund of such local body. However, if the person holding the bond makes a claim within the period specified in this regulation with proof, even if it is deposited in the fund of the relevant local body, such bond shall be returned by arrangement in the budget.
